Erving Select Board Enters Executive Session With No COVID-19 Update
ERVING — April 16, 2020 — Erving Select Board skips COVID-19 update, moves directly into executive session. Chair Jacob Smith called the April 16 remote meeting to order at 5:40 p.m. via GoToWebinar, citing technical difficulties at the start. Members voted by roll call to enter executive session under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30A, Section 21, Subsection 1 — the personnel exemption covering discipline, dismissal, or complaints against a public employee or officer. Smith announced the board would not return to open session afterward, ending the public portion of the meeting in under five minutes.
