Chair Jacob Smith called the April 16 remote meeting to order at 5:40 p.m. via GoToWebinar, citing technical difficulties at the start. The board listed a COVID-19 response discussion as its first agenda item but offered no updates on the matter. Members voted by roll call to enter executive session under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30A, Section 21, Subsection 1, the personnel exemption covering discipline, dismissal, or complaints against a public employee or officer. Smith announced the board would not return to open session afterward, ending the public portion of the meeting in under five minutes.
