Nine Erving Property Transfers Recorded in August, Most Prices Undisclosed
Nine property transfers were recorded in Erving between July 31 and Aug. 28, but only two disclosed a sale price. Those two sales ranged from $125,000 to $225,000, with a median of $175,000. The month's top disclosed sale was 221 North St. at $225,000, sold by Christian C. Sawicki to Charles E. Mallet. Five of the nine transactions involved a mortgage lender or credit union as buyer or seller, and High Street was the only street with more than one recorded transfer. With most prices undisclosed, the available data does not support a characterization of market conditions as strong or weak this period.
